We are pleased to be equipping the automotive competence center of the Chamber of Crafts Frankfurt (Oder) – Region Ostbrandenburg in Hennickendorf, which is in the course of being set up, with the latest simulation and diagnostic technology for its innovative teaching concept! As one component of the “diagnostic test stations” supplied, the Softing TCS simulation boxes enable the mapping of vehicle networking via Automotive Ethernet (DoIP) as well as classically via CAN-FD. This makes it possible to simulate realistic error scenarios in vehicle communication and experience them in a practical way.

We are pleased to be able to inform you that a new version of our “Diagnostic Tool Set” is in the starting blocks. Version 9.03 of the diagnostic tester Softing DTS.monaco contains lots of new features that will make your work even simpler. Thanks to the integration of a new connect plug-in (dynamic VCI handling), both the integration and configuration of a VCI are now more convenient than before – regardless of whether the VCI is local or remote.

We have put our knowledge and long years of experience into a compact and modular training program for you. This comprises practice-oriented user workshops as well as in-depth theoretical seminars which we offer in both English and German. We would be happy to tailor the content of our training sessions to suit your individual requirements.

Reading out and documenting vehicles during and at the end of a test day is extremely time consuming. An interface is plugged into the test carrier, the tester application is connected, and automatic or interactive tests are performed. The procedure is repeated – per vehicle and per readout time, for example before and after a test drive. Following the successful launch at pilot customers, the new generation of the high-performance and use-case-optimized Diagnostic Tool Set (Softing DTS 9) is now available. New functionalities enable even faster and more cost-efficient diagnostic development – exactly what is needed for the growing complexity of E/E architectures and shorter product development cycles Softing DTS.monaco makes it possible for developers, engineers and technicians to create consistent diagnostic functions and sequences on the basis of international standards and to ensure that diagnostic communication works reliably over the entire value chain.

With the new generation of the Diagnostic Tool Set – Softing DTS 9 – the integration of OTX sequences in the Monaco workspaces now makes it possible for entire release sequences, continuous operation controls as well as certifications to be safely integrated into the working environment to prevent operating errors. OTX allows you to freely define both the user interfaces and the stored diagnostic sequence.

In spite of standardization and user-friendly tools, the complexity of vehicle diagnostics basically demands more or less sound know-how, depending on the area of application and requirements.
