MANAGE | Softing TDX.server

Softing TDX.server can be used to define roles and user-specific rights for operators of the Softing TDX.workshop tester and to control software updates and diagnostic content. The cloud integration enables precise control of release and roll-out via a single point of administration.

Softing TDX.server is the central hub for all information provided via the cloud for or by the workshops. The core element is the integrated user administration, which system administrators use to manage roles and users as well as their rights. Authentication takes place via established systems, such as Active Directory. Newly logged-in users can be tracked at any time.   

Content creators can access a wide range of information via Softing TDX.server. This can be contact information from the CRM system or serial numbers and order information loaded from the ERP system. Other sources of information are also possible. Finally, content creators load finished test projects into the system at the touch of a button. There, the diagnostic sequences, operating steps including all necessary images and films as well as the stored repair and maintenance instructions can be finally released. Certain diagnostic functions can be linked to roles so that, for example, only employees with the appropriate training can carry out vehicle programming. The roll-out to workshops can also be precisely controlled so that software or diagnostic content is made available in individual workshops or regions, for example.   

Data or software can be imported as an update in the workshops. Data can be kept completely local so that work can still be carried out without any problems in applications without network access. Diagnostic results and feedback can then also be fed back from the workshops, enabling quality assurance statistics, for example.
