Softing TDX (Tester for DiagnosticX) is a universal and flexible diagnostic framework for the creation of repair shop applications intended to be used by vehicle and component manufacturers. It supports the creation of all necessary diagnostic functions needed in troubleshooting, repair and in the setup of entire vehicles or individual components.
Softing ́s Smart Diagnostic Engine (SDE) is based on the standardized diagnostic formats ODX and OTX and extends these with an easy-to-operate abstraction layer. The modular component which is used independently of a specific platform takes a functional diagnostic approach by, for example, providing functions for reading the fault memory and programming at the API. It also enables remote access to the diagnostic functions.
Softing VCF (Vehicle Communication Framework) enables all functions required in vehicle and ECU communication. As far as off-board communication (diagnostics) is concerned, it is not only possible to display a test system but also simulate ECUs.
