New functionalities enable even faster and more cost-efficient diagnostic development – exactly what is needed for the growing complexity of E/E architectures and shorter product development cycles Softing DTS.monaco makes it possible for developers, engineers and technicians to create consistent diagnostic functions and sequences on the basis of international standards and to ensure that diagnostic communication works reliably over the entire value chain.

The large number of diagnostic tester installations (Softing TDX.workshop) all over the world makes the efficient management of role and user authorizations particularly important. In addition, ensuring consistent, automated and centrally controlled updates of software and its diagnostic content, such as repair instructions and diagnostic trees, is of particular importance for the use of the diagnostic tester in the repair shop area. We meet these challenges with Softing TDX.admin, a backend administrator tool from the Softing TDX toolkit.

With the new generation of the Diagnostic Tool Set – Softing DTS 9 – the integration of OTX sequences in the Monaco workspaces now makes it possible for entire release sequences, continuous operation controls as well as certifications to be safely integrated into the working environment to prevent operating errors. OTX allows you to freely define both the user interfaces and the stored diagnostic sequence.

The new release 2.3 of the repair shop tester Softing TDX is now available, featuring automated and centralized software updates. This saves time and considerably reduces the effort involved in maintenance.

A frequent challenge for diagnostics in the field, particularly in the machine environment, is that the ECU configuration of the machine is not known in advance and that a diagnostic project may have to be adapted or supplemented dynamically during runtime. With the new version 2.2. of the repair shop tool Softing TDX, it is possible to load and even supplement diagnostic projects dynamically, depending on the machine configuration.

Softing Automotive offers wireless and wired adapters for secure, convenient diagnostics in ECU and vehicle engineering. Communication with a Device under Test (FMU, HiL, vehicle, ..) takes place over the DoIP interface between an application and the VCI VIN|ING 600 (WLAN to Ethernet Bridge). Alternatively, we offer wired connections using patch cords and individually angled OBD diagnostic connectors on RJ45.
