- CAN (Controller Area Network)
- LIN (Local Interconnect Network)
- FlexRay
- Ethernet (Automotive Ethernet)
- DoIP (Diagnostics over Internet Protocol)
These protocols enable comprehensive analysis and diagnostics of vehicle communication.
Our Softing DTS.monaco features an integration interface called the D-PDU API. It serves as a standardized integration layer for applications using a D-Server/MVCI server according to ISO 22900-3/ASAM MCD-3D.
Various VCIs with different communication channels can be addressed.
DTS.monaco supports a wide range of VCI hardware, including:
- SOFTING:
VIN|ING Interfaces: 100, 800, and 2000 (WLAN-Ethernet bridge for DoIP)
CAN Interfaces: 1, 2, 3, CANpro USB, CANusb, CAN-PRO2-PCIE, CAN-AC2, CANcard2
- KVASER:
CAN Interfaces: Leaf Professional HS, Leaf Light HS, Leaf Light HS v2, Memorator Pro HS/HS,
USBcan II HS/LS, PCIcanx HS/HS, PCIEcan HS/HS
- VECTOR:
CAN Interfaces: CANcard/case/board XL, VN1530, VN16xx, VN56xx, VN76xx, VN8900
(Full list of supported types and further integrations available upon request)
- PassThru Interfaces:
The D-PDU API software can access VCIs offering a generic PassThru interface.
Currently supported PassThru interfaces include:
- DrewTech CarDAQ+ v1.9.13
- I+ME Actia PassThru XS+ v2.07
- DearBorn VSI-2423 v2.04.16
- BlueStreak iFlash v4.20/2.13

The following Softing DTS.monaco product packages are currently available:
dts9+mon-base
Basic package of the diagnostic tester. Includes all features that can be used generically with diagnostic services and predefined OTX sequences, as well as OBD conformity testing. Creation and editing of workspaces is included.
dts9+mon-professional
Extension of the base package with support for complex diagnostic sequences (e.g. DTC, ECU identification, flash programming, quick test) within the user interface. Also adds remote diagnostics support (typically requires one-time mapping of customer-specific service name conventions to the interface – AGL).
dts9+mon-testbench
Comprehensive package for using diagnostic interfaces via the DTS9 UI (same as the professional version), and additionally for integrating the diagnostic core system (OTX runtime, MVCI server) into third-party applications (e.g. test bench software).
Yes, Softing DTS.monaco includes a simulated interface that allows testing of diagnostic functions without requiring an actual control unit.
