Haar near Munich, October 19, 2020 – On October 12, 2020, Softing opened the doors of its virtual showroom for the first time as part of its very first “Softing Diagnostic Convention”.
“Canceled trade fairs as well as postponed congresses and TechDays have sown the seed for a completely new approach to events and customer appointments. With a creative digitalization concept and the help of state-of-the-art technology, the initial idea matured into a genuine virtual showroom, in which visitors can move around and find out information in a realistic way. With this virtual space, we have found a simple way of taking our software solutions and exhibits to the offices and homes of our customers, partners and interested parties. In addition, the showroom allows us to make direct contact with interested parties at special events, such as the Softing Diagnostic Convention, with exclusive technical presentations and webinars. The virtual showroom is now available 24/7 on the Softing website at www.automotive.softing.com/products/virtual-showroom.
The virtual exhibition will initially focus on diagnostic solutions with the repair shop tester Softing TDX, the engineering tester Softing DTS.monaco and the middleware Softing SDE for service-oriented diagnostics. Furthermore, the vehicle communication interfaces (VCIs) of the VIN|ING family will be on show in 3D.
Content, interactions and subject areas will be extended for live events to suit the respective motto. And personal exchange is nevertheless still very much in focus. Softing’s team of experts is available via web meeting during live events. In addition, the virtual exhibition will be accompanied during ongoing events by various specialist lectures on the latest developments and challenges in the industry, and then followed by question and answer sessions.
