D-Server (ISO 22900)

Diagnostic system with symbolic access to vehicle and ECUs

The D-Server API (also called ASAM MCD-3D or diagnostic system API) describes a programming interface for symbolic access to vehicles and ECUs.

The vehicles and ECUs are usually described by ODX data in accordance with ISO 22901-1.

Softing Experience

Softing has not only actively driven standardization since 1998, but also implemented the standard from the very beginning. This is why we claim to be the supplier with the greatest experience. A considerable number of our predecessor solutions (e.g. EDIABAS) are still in use today. Under the API, we have enabled access to different proprietary data descriptions in a prototype version and for production systems. This enables the presentation of a wide range of migration scenarios. In addition, we have realized countless projects on the API for well-known OEMs and Tier1s.
