The ELIV Marketplace combines the three top-class conferences "E/E in Passenger Cars", "EE in Commercial Vehicles" and "E/E in Mobile Machinery" and sees itself as a platform where methods and techniques of current trends and top topics are presented in depth. More than 400 experts meet to find out about trends and developments relating to electronics in mobile applications.

The digitization and automation of vehicles and mobile machines is advancing at an ever faster pace, driven by greater efficiency and convenience. The functions required for this are becoming increasingly complex and can only be implemented across systems. In the event of a fault, this makes clear fault localization and rapid rectification virtually impossible without suitable support. The evaluation of the data recorded during operation plays an important role here, as it forms the basis for diagnosing any errors that may occur. In the article, Softing shows how simulation methods can be used efficiently for the use of this data and the preparation of testing.

We Proudly Present the Preproduction Series of the Softing TCS.device.

Softing TCS offers a modern diagnostic simulation consisting of the simulation hardware, a configuration application and an API for integrating the hardware into test automations. The hardware is flexibly tailored to current and future requirements due to the multicore Linux platform used. It has an OBD socket and thus provides a complete diagnostic view of a vehicle. Alternatively, CAN can also be accessed as usual via a D-SUB socket. Simulation files for different ECUs or vehicles are brought to the device via a LAN connection or USB stick.
