With the stand-alone tester ‘VIN|ING 2000 PDX’, Softing offers a self-sufficient test solution for vehicle diagnostics that can be carried out directly on the vehicle without a PC or laptop. The compact, user-friendly solution enables ECU updates and diagnostics directly on the vehicle and is controlled via OTX scripts. Programmable buttons and coloured LED lights facilitate operation and indicate the current status of the application. The solution is suitable for use in production, road tests and after-sales service, saves time and costs and can also be operated by semi-skilled personnel after configuration. The ability to operate several devices in parallel further increases efficiency.
In the new Solution Spotlight ‘Autarkic Testing with Smart VCI’, our trainer Bernhard Rimpfl shows you how the VIN|ING 2000 PDX can be used as a stand-alone tester without a PC or laptop to quickly and easily programme control units or carry out diagnostics. In a short demo, he clearly shows how predefined OTX sequences are automatically started after being plugged into the OBD socket and how the test status is displayed via coloured LED lights.
The VIN|ING 2000 PDX enables simple and efficient control unit programming without a PC or extensive specialist knowledge. Simply plug it into the OBD socket to start the predefined programming sequence. RGB LEDs indicate the status, ideal for quick and efficient ECU updates in production, road testing or on the car park. The quick test also enables the fault memory to be read out during road tests. Freely configurable OTX scripts provide additional flexibility. Updates can be conveniently downloaded and archived using the PC application.
