Using the DTS Base System for the development of individual applications enables users to focus on the actual vehicle diagnostics as well as to get results quickly and cost-effectively. Softing DTS.cos unlocks the required API access.
Softing DTS.cos is part of Softing’s Diagnostic Tool Set product family and enables user applications to access the programming interface of the ISO MVCI Server.
Verified by extensive tests in accordance with the ASAM test suite, Softing’s ISO MVCI Server most closely corresponds with all relevant standards. Comprehensive trace functions enable developers and engineers to rapidly detect errors in their own applications or in the communication with ECUs.
In addition to the advantages of using ODX as well as easily utilizing most diverse bus protocols via different manufacturers’ VCIs, it can be used to access several ECUs at the same time or the whole vehicle via different bus systems. If necessary, parallel communication is also possible via several VCIs.
The API Developer Kit for the ISO MVCI Server, beside extensive documentation and programming examples, comprises a special Test Application. It makes it possible for developers to establish communication to the vehicle or single ECUs immediately, i.e. without their own application development. Using a special Configuration API, the runtime system can be configured entirely by an external application in terms of VCIs, projects etc.
