The growing connectivity of vehicles and the emergence of new E/E architectures are fundamentally changing the requirements for vehicle diagnostics. High-performance computers, zonal control units and remote access present new challenges for traditional diagnostic systems. The Smart Diagnostic Engine (SDE) offers a powerful runtime environment based on ODX and OTX standards. It provides access to local and remote control units, supports parallel processes, and can be integrated across platforms, covering tools, vehicles, and cloud applications. The function-oriented API makes the SDE highly user-friendly, even for complex diagnostic tasks.
