On May 23 and 24, 2023, the 16th Conference – Diagnostics in Mechatronic Vehicle Systems will take place in Dresden. This year's topics will again revolve around current challenges and new technologies in predictive maintenance, remote diagnostics, machine learning, standardization as well as the main inspection and ePTI.
On Tuesday, May 23, you will get exclusive insights from our speaker Jürgen Heilmeier (Manager Innovation & Test at Softing Automotive):
"SOVD in development - from ECU to vehicle"
The SOVD standard enables standardized diagnostics for various use cases on the vehicle, in the vehicle and remotely. A diagnostic server in the vehicle is used for this purpose, but it must be developed and released on a vehicle-specific basis. The diagnostic content can be designed flexibly. However, there are challenges in the development of mechatronic systems and vehicles, such as the consideration of different shoring states and the implementation of communication mechanisms. However, there are alternative solutions with specific advantages and disadvantages. In order to also take into account requirements from the development environment of mechatronic systems and vehicles, a follow-up project has already been started in standardization.
By the way – We will be on site again this year as an exhibitor.
We are looking forward to your visit at our exhibition booth as well as to exciting discussions!
