In our Solution Spotlight Video “Parallel ECU Programming” we present the concept of parallel ECU programming as a solution for the growing requirements, especially in test and production. Significant time and cost savings can be achieved by updating several ECUs at the same time. Whether in prototype construction, production preparation or field use, the parallel flash programming of ECUs is a decisive factor in accelerating and scaling the software update process.

With the stand-alone tester ‘VIN|ING 2000 PDX’, Softing offers a self-sufficient test solution for vehicle diagnostics that can be carried out directly on the vehicle without a PC or laptop. The compact, user-friendly solution enables ECU updates and diagnostics directly on the vehicle and is controlled via OTX scripts. Programmable buttons and coloured LED lights facilitate operation and indicate the current status of the application. The solution is suitable for use in production, road tests and after-sales service, saves time and costs and can also be operated by semi-skilled personnel after configuration. The ability to operate several devices in parallel further increases efficiency.

Simulation in test preparation enables the verification of test routines and the entire test setup, which reduces the time required for troubleshooting.
