DTS Flash
DTS Flash is an easy-to-use tool based on the ODX standard for flash programming of ECUs. The programming sequence is easy to adapt to the particular use scenario.

Knowledge of ODX Not Absolutely Necessary
DTS Flash is part of the Diagnostic Tool Set product family and is based on the DTS Base System. The GUI is intuitive to use. A predefined working area contains all the parameters required for flash programming. It is possible to create your own, user-specific working areas with the help of an assistant. If the ODX data required is not available, it can be created by importing flash files (Motorola or Intel format).
A flash session is automatically created once the ECU ID has been entered, the bus protocol selected, and addresses and bus parameters assigned. It is possible to program selected code and data segments of individual ECUs.
Customized Job Control
If necessary, the programming method can be modified by configuring the Flash Programming HMIcontrol. A sequence that cannot be changed or parameterized and which is hard coded in the DTS Base System is preselected. There are two possible alternatives for this. On the one hand, the 1-step approach makes a Java flash job compliant with standards available for which the diagnostic services used can be defined and parameterized by the job developer. On the other, the 5-step approach enables the greatest possible control including user interaction between the jobs and the repetition of failed actions with access to all diagnostic services, parameters as well as to the interfaces of the Java jobs.
